Fundraiser for Japan at Mar Vista Farmers Market

The charity event for Japan Earthquake and Tsunami was held on May 15 at Mar Vista Farmers Market. LA Matsuri Taiko performed very powerful taiko, Eddie Takahashi sang a song for Japan which he wrote thinking of his hometown Ishinomaki, one of the area hardest hit by Tsunami. Takako Uemura's beautiful voice moved everyone with her "Sukiyaki Song" and "Japanese Lullaby." Young dancers entertained with their charming performances.

Mar Vista Farmers Market had a bigger turnout than ever and more than 200 audience sat through the performances and supported the donation efforts.

We hope all our hope and donation will help those people who are in need in Japan.
